Pick the system you know your size in, select it, and see the equivalent in all six other systems at once. The converter handles the parts people get wrong: French bands sitting 15 above EU numbers, Australian dress-number bands, and Japanese cup letters that run a letter fuller than European.

Every conversion is a starting point. When a brand publishes its own centimeter chart, that chart beats any converted label.

Cup letters diverge between systems after D, which is why a UK FF has no direct US letter and why converted sizes are starting points. When a brand publishes its own chart, trust the centimeters over the converted letter.

Where conversions genuinely break

Band conversion is clean arithmetic: a US 34 is an EU 75, a FR 90, an AU 12. Cups are the minefield, because the ladders diverge after D. The US stacks DD then DDD, the UK inserts E, F and FF before G, and Europe runs single letters E, F, G. So a US DDD, a UK E and an EU F describe roughly the same volume with three different letters, and a UK FF simply has no direct US name.

Japan and Korea add one more twist: their cup letters run about one letter fuller for the same measurement, so many EU B wearers buy a JP C, and the label prints cup-first (C75, not 75C). Our converter applies these conventions and shows the result in each system's own format.

Shopping across borders

Order from a brand's home-market chart when you can: Freya in UK sizing, Chantelle in French, Wacoal Japan in JP. Sites that auto-convert to your local system introduce a second rounding step, and two roundings can move you a whole size. If a listing offers centimeters anywhere, match your tape measurement to that and ignore the letters entirely.

Frequently asked questions

What is a US 34DDD in UK and EU sizing?
A UK 34E and approximately an EU 75F. The three systems name the same volume differently because their cup ladders diverge after D.
Why is my French size 15 higher than my EU size?
French sizing simply adds 15 to the EU band number by convention: an EU 75 is a FR 90. The cups use the same letters.
Is a Japanese C cup the same as a US C cup?
No. Japanese letters run about one letter fuller, so a JP C is close to a US/EU B for the same measurements, and Japanese labels print the cup before the band, like C75.
